Healthy Women Ride - Claremont
This easy roll along the InterCity Cycleway, from the Brooke St Pier to Claremont and back again for coffee, is our contribution to the 2017 Womens Health Week (WHW). WHW is an annual national event organised by the Jean Hailes Foundation, a group dedicated to women across Australia to make good health a priority. Bicycle Network is the major community partner of the Jean Hailes Foundation Women’s Health Week 2017.
Led by Kathy Singline, this is a good ride for riders of all levels of experience, and any sort of bike is OK. E-bikes welcome.
It is an easy 30km flat ride on smooth surfaces, almost all of it separate from the road (there are several road crossings). Suits riders of any age, most fitness levels and all kinds of bikes. It is safe, level, and will last about two hours. 1-B-30. Map of the ride.
Pls register by RSVP'ing below. This is a Free ride, AND each rider will receive a goodies bag!

Bicycle Network Tasmania makes every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network. This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.
Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
