June 3. 8.6 CyclingSouth 8.7 Web Site – Andrew Total hits for month 4775 compared to 3519 last month. 8.8 Membership – David 8.9 Bicycle Lights Working At Evans Street – Ken White On Thursday June 3 it was reported to myself by a cyclist that the bicycle crossing lights at Evans Street are now turned on and working. I checked the following day and yes by George they are. This must be three years or more after the funds were approved by the Hobart Bicycle Advisory Committee and the work was completed about nine months ago. The last hitch at the time of the installation was, it was said, the lights were not turned on because it could not be agreed which department was going to finance the painting of the white lines at this crossing!
