The maximum height should be less than 1/3 of an A4 page. I suggest 90 mm maximum. I suggest we get 200 mm or 205 mm stickers. As for the slogan, try these out: · save fuel - ride a bike · give a cyclist a metre · save money while you exercise - ride a bike · pedal power not petrol power · save the environment - ride a bike The stickers should include the BT web address and PO box in small letters, and also the BT logo. The logo should be as large as possible. 7.3 Insurance Mix Up - Stuart Stuart had a phone call from Cycling Australia along the lines that 1) our members aren’t insured due to some mix up on CA’s part and 2) we haven’t paid enough in individual membership fees. 8 Committee and Other Reports 8.1 Kingborough BUG - Richard 8.2 Hobart BUG – Ambrose 8.3 CyclingSouth 8.4 Web Site – Andrew Total web site hits for month: 5,428 per day: 194 (April 6,860 March 5,390 February 6,008 December 3,877). 8.5 Membership – David We currently have 24 Complementary members, 2 Corporate members and 58 Ordinary members. The 58 Ordinary members are broken down as 15 Single, 7 Single Concession, 36 Family (this includes partners and children), 0 Family Concession. Comments are now due by 5pm, Monday 23 May 2005. The survey form can be accessed via the Australian Bicycle Council Website at http://www.abc.dotars.gov.au/” 9.4 BFA National Conference - Brisbane 2005 “BFA Connecting Cycling Conference 2005 - Planning for Healthy Communities. The Bicycle Federation of Australia (BFA) is running a National Cycling Conference from Wednesday 5th to Saturday 8th October at City Hall, Brisbane, Queensland. Conference topics will include: *Innovative planning to create healthy environments, *Best practice in engineering for cycling facilities, *Health & environmental benefits of cycling and walking, *Methods of increasing cycling and walking.” – Peter Strang.
