Peaks Challenge Training Ride

Planning to do the Peaks Challenge Falls Creek?  Thinking about it and wondering if you're fit enough?  Join this free training ride and enjoy finding out.

Led by Peter Thurling, this is a challenging training ride (there are hills and steep climbs) with average speed 23-24 kph.  It will be a no-drop group ride.  The route is mostly on-road, and riders should be fit and confident.  5-C-100. 

Time: 10am

Location: A ride around the New Norfolk Region, northwest of Hobart.

Average speed: 23-24km/h

Distance: 100km

Bring

  • snacks to stay energised for the ride
  • water
  • windproof and rainproof layers, depending on the weather
  • tools and spares for own minor repairs

Meet in the carpark of the Hobart Cenotaph 15 minutes before the start time.  Peter goes in any weather.
