Wayfinding in Hobart
A current trial of new wayfinding markers in Hobart involves two markers being installed on the waterfront at Brooke Street Pier as proto-types for a number of weeks. The aim of the trial is to help evaluate the design and messaging used on the wayfinding elements. Take a look and have your say to the Council. Let us know what you think too!
The introduction of a City Wayfinding System was identified as one of 15 priority projects endorsed by the Council in its Inner City Action Plan, developed from the work of Danish architect Jan Gehl and from a comprehensive community engagement program.

The Council is seeking community feedback on the trial wayfinding markers, within the next few weeks. Comments can be submitted by:
