Our Bike Network Action Plans
Bicycle Network Tasmania maintains a set of our own "working" bike network plans to assist our advocates and supporters to focus on current and emerging priorities in the development of the coherent bicycle network. Colour coding of bikepaths in our maps is as follows:
Green for GO! These bikepaths and lanes are current or emerging priorities or opportunities.
Blue lines are existing built offroad bikepaths or onroad bikelanes.
Red lines are suggested improvements, probably medium to longer term opportunities.
Bicycle Network Tasmania works with Councils, Government and regional stakeholders to facilitate the speedy development of safe riding environments and appropriate infrastructure for riders.
