Bike Week 2017

A number of events will be held around the State in Bike Week. 

Tamar BUG is organising several events in Launceston - for details check the TBUG website.

Cycling South is running a Commuter Course - focused on traffic skills with a mixture of theory and riding.  Saturday 4 March, Hobart.  More details and register here.

Bicycle Network Tasmania will be celebrating Bike Week this year with the following Hobart-based events:


Sunday 5th - Kingborough Treasure Hunt

Sunday 5th - Women on Wheels

Our annual easy going social ride for women.  RSVP via our webpage.  Help us to publicise it by sharing the Facebook Event with your friends!









Tuesday 7th - Super Tuesday

The annual bike count held all around Australia.  Regular bike counters can expect to be contacted soon re what location you will be assigned to.  Newbies should register their interest via Bicycle Network's volunteer portal.








Thursday 9th - Bike Futures workshop

This is an excellent opportunity for local traffic engineers, urban planners and cycling advocates to update themselves on the latest regarding bike infrastructure design and initiatives.
