Bike workshops Penguin
A couple of bicycle workshops are scheduled for Saturday 13 December at the RESEED Centre, 30 King Edward Street, Penguin. Both workshops are free, light snacks will be available and there will be prizes for a few lucky participants.
Workshop 1: 9:30am – 12:30pm
Bicycle setup, maintenance and repairs
This workshop will suit both experienced and first time riders. You will learn how to set up your bike for comfort and optimal efficiency and you'll be guided through common maintenance and repair tasks by professional bike mechanics.
Workshop 2: 1:15 – 3:30pm
Cycle commuting and touring
There are many great reasons to consider cycle commuting and touring: fitness, fun, saving a dollar or saving the planet. In this workshop you will learn about the tools, tips and tricks for a safe, enjoyable ride. Touring equipment will be available for a test ride and this workshop will also include some simple maintenance and repair skills.
We encourage you to bring along your bike.
