Brompton club - Sandy Bay coffee run
Calling all Bromptonauts! Dayna and Stephen from Melbourne Brompton Club are visiting Hobart and would like to meet up with Hobart's Brompton owners. Yay! It's always fun to show off our Brommies and check out other peoples setups.
Come along on an easy ride to Lower Sandy Bay for coffee. We'll take the tourist route through Battery Point and along Sandy Bay Rd, along quiet roads and on-road bikelanes. Then head back to the city - short and scenic.
10km, back within 2 hours. 2-A-10. Ride Leader: Di Elliffe.
Note: this is a "fair weather ride" :) We'll cancel around 5pm the day before if rain looks likely, and will advise people who've RSVP'ed.
Here's a likely map of the ride (note - we're only doing half of this mapped route today).
Meet at Brooke Street Pier, Franklin Wharf, Sullivans Cove, 10 minutes before the start time of 10am.
You can find more information about Bicycle Network Tasmania's Social Rides Program here, including an explanation of the ride descriptor codes.
You can subscribe here for a fortnightly email alert about upcoming Social Rides (note this email does not include other Bicycle Network Tasmania events).

This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.
Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
