Convoy to the E-bike Expo

Calling all e-bike owners!

We'll be riding in a Convoy of E-bikes to the E-bike Expo in Hobart on Sunday 24 November, come and join us!  It's a short jaunt along the Inter City Cycleway, from the Tasmanian Hockey Centre to the Regatta Ground - easy peasy.  AND - this year we'll also be riding over the brand spanking new Brooker Bridge and then returning along the new-ish Macquarie Point path.

We'll make a lot of noise as we go, to show off our excellent mode of transport (bring your bells and whistles!).

If you are a new e-bike owner, you'll enjoy this opportunity to check out other people's bikes and to gain confidence on your bike on mostly safe paths and in the safety of a group.  At only 6.6 km, you won't use up many Watthours either!

Those who are interested can join in the Show and Tell part of the Expo - you can show off your bike and answer questions from  interested members of the public.   If you'd like to be in the Show and Tell, let Di know (email to ridestas@bicyclenetwork.com.au), and we'll send you more info.

Meet at Bell Street in NewTown, at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre at 9.15am, to register, and we'll set out at 9.30am.

Pls RSVP below, and watch the Bicycle Network Tasmania website/FB page for updates.

Bicycle Network Tasmania makes every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network.  This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.

Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
