International Recognition For Cycling’s Luminaries
Australian and international winners of the Cycling Luminaries Awards 2014 have been recognised at the World’s premier cycling conference, Velo-city Global in Adelaide.
The special international edition of the Cycling Promotion Fund’s Cycling Awards were presented by key cycling leaders throughout the Velo-city conference.
Devonport Council's Infrastructure and Urban Design Coordinator Randell Stott was nominated as a finalist for the on-going implementation of bicycle infrastructure and programs in the Devonport Regional area for almost 10 years.
Bicycle Tasmania President Di Elliffe was on-hand at Velo-City to accept Stott's Honourable Mention.
"This was one of only two Honourable Mentions awarded. I was really honoured to step onto the stage in front of the VIPs and accept the award on Randell's behalf." she said.
