E-bike coffee cruise - Geilston Bay
A relaxed, easy ride with fellow riders of e-bikes. Are you new to e-bike riding and not very confident with the controls yet? Are you looking for a riding group where the bikes are more like yours? Then this ride is for you.
Come with ride leaders Di Elliffe and Alan Whykes on an easy roll along safe paths and roads. Riders will develop their e-bike knowledge and gain confidence in managing their e-steeds on bikepaths and roads.
On this ride we'll visit Currency Cafe in Lindisfarne, after a tour of the lovely Clarence Foreshore Trail, exploring as far as Geilston Bay. No problem with the Bridge - we've got e-bikes! 2-B-17. A leisurely pace, mostly on shared paths and quiet streets. Map here.
Meet EITHER - at the carparking area just under the Tasman Bridge, 15 minutes before the start time of 3pm,
OR - a little after 3pm on Rose Bay Esplanade where the road becomes the Foreshore Trail.
You can find more information about Bicycle Network Tasmania's Social Rides Program here, including an explanation of the ride descriptor codes.
Bicycle Network Tasmania makes every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network. This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.
Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.

Hi Di
I can’t come on the Gielston Bay trip now. I’ve made arrangements to go to the NW Coast. Sorry.
