Geilston Bay - Tranmere Foreshore Trail
Enjoy a 43 km ride on mostly flat and safe cycle paths, with a few steep climbs and some interesting bush track and safe road diversions thrown in. We'll follow the scenic Clarence Foreshore Trail from one end to the other, visit historic Bellerive Fort at the Bluff, and take on a small hill in Oceana Drive for a bit of interest.
Bring your own picnic lunch to have along the way, and we'll enjoy coffee at a cafe in Lindisfarne as we return.
Your Ride Leader will be Brian Chapman.
Map. 2-B-43. All bikes, all riders.
We'll start and finish the ride at the Geilston Bay Boatclub carpark.
Meet from 10.30am at the Boatclub carpark to leave at 11am. Return approx 3.30pm
RSVP-ers (see below) will be advised by email of any changes. Also feel free to phone Brian on the morning of the ride if uncertain about the weather.

Bicycle Network Tasmania makes every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network. This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.
Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
