Glenorchy Gardens to the Volunteers' Party
An easy ride from the northern suburbs to the Volunteers' Party at Mawson Pavilion.
You're invited to our Volunteers' Party, for lunch and the opportunity to catch up with lots of other riders. We're adding in an easy little bike ride, to make it even more fun!
This short and easy ride (9km and flat) will be fun for all riders, including young and less confident ones. We'll start at the Glenorchy Council Rose Gardens. We'll make our way onto the brand new, safely separated protected bikelane on Peltro Street (the first in Tasmania!) and then transfer onto the InterCity Cycleway. We'll cruise down to the Mawson Pavilion for the party, and head back again afterwards.
All bikes, all ages welcome. Your ride leader is Di Elliffe.
What to bring: Family and friends. A lock to secure your bike at the Pavilion.
1-A-9 (18 return). Map of the ride.
Meet at Glenorchy Council rose gardens 11.50am, to commence the ride at 12pm.
Pls RSVP below, and watch the Bicycle Network Tasmania website/FB page for updates.

Bicycle Network Tasmania makes every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network. This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.
Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
