Noosa Strade Bianche
The Noosa Strade Bianche (NSB) is fashioned after the famous Italian L’Eroica (http://en.eroica.it/) vintage bicycle festival. Accordingly the NSB is limited to steel framed bikes with down tube shifters, this event is therefore not for everyone. However, readers who are interested in vintage bikes, are fans of cycling history, enjoy a ride against a scenic backdrop or those who are just interested in a different style of cycling challenge will certainly be attracted to the Noosa Strade Bianche.
The event is growing rapidly with the fourth NSB edition to be held on 9 & 10 August this year. Together with a popular bike show the event offers three courses of varying difficulty (128k, 85k & 33k) all of which include significant stretches of gravel road, solid climbs, great views and hair raising descents. Support vehicles, signage, on course guides, route maps and ride pack will be provided. A kit in the colours below is currently in production and will be available on line shortly.
