Ride2Work Day 2015
Ride2Work encourages Australians to start riding to work and promotes commuting by bike as a regular habit.
To get you motivated there will be a community bicycle breakfast before work with a spread of breakfast treats, tea and coffee.
Hobart
The free Ride2Work Day Community Breakfast will be held at Mawson Place between 6:30am-8:30am.

Why should I get involved?
To increase the amount of physical activity you do every day. Currently, more than half of Australian men and women don’t do enough physical activity to maintain their health! The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare recommends 30 minutes of moderate activity for adults most days (up to 60 minutes for children) to stay healthy.
But bike riding is not only a great way to get physically active; it's also fun, social and great for the environment – and the best part is you can do it while you’re commuting to and from work. It’s a really great habit to get into!
Do people keep riding?
Yes, they do. Five months after National Ride2Work Day in 2012, 47% of new commuters reported they had ridden to work in the week they were surveyed, while 82% of new bike commuters who were not riding one year ago reported they were now riding to work more than once per week.
