Towards Zero - community consultations
The Road Safety Advisory Council is currently developing the new Towards Zero - Tasmanian Road Safety Strategy 2017-2026 and is seeking input from the Tasmanian community on how to improve road safety and achieve a zero road toll for Tasmania.
Why not get along to one of the following public forums held across the state during November and December, and let them know about your experience as a bike rider and what could be done to improve the safety of bike riders on the roads. Feedback from the forums will play an important part in increasing road safety across Tasmania.
6–8pm 6 November Rydges Hotel, 393 Argyle St, North Hobart
6-8pm 19 November West Coast Council Chambers, 11 Sticht St, Queenstown
6–8pm 7 December Burnie Club, 40 Queen St, Burnie
6–8pm 8 December Tramsheds Function Centre, 4 Invermay Rd, Launceston
6–8pm 10 December Bayside Inn, 4 Cecilia St, St Helens
To register your interest phone 6166 3239 or email [email protected].
If you would like more information or if you cannot attend a forum and wish to contribute via the online survey visit www.towardszero.tas.gov.au.
