Counters needed: UTAS Bike Count March 2015
If you found our annual bicycle count satisfying, here is another one where your help would be greatly appreciated. The University of Tasmania is conducting a regular count of bikes on the Cradle Coast, Launceston and Hobart campuses.
The purpose of the annual UTAS movement counts is to determine the number of cyclists accessing and bypassing UTAS facilities. The information gathered informs improvements to cycling facilities for staff and students and builds the case for improving cycling infrastructure for the public.
If you can help with the counts in the north, pls email Carmen Primo-Perez: email@example.com.
Help is particularly needed with the Hobart count.
The Hobart counts are conducted in three locations, twice a day, for the five days beginning 23 March and ending 27 March 2015.
The locations are:
L1 = Hunter Street - Fine Arts School
L2 = Castray Esplanade - IMAS Salamanca
L3 = Liverpool Street - Medical Sciences Precinct.
Please sign up to count as many time slots as possible! As an additional incentive, for each count sheet returned you will receive one $20 voucher to Source Community Wholefoods.
The voucher, instruction sheets and counting sheets will be issued by your preferred method as specified below.
You can sign up here: <http://doodle.com/k8kp4btygp6f7g56> - click on "Show all 30 options" to see all the shifts available.
