Welcome the Pain Revolution

Pain Revolution helps people in chronic pain in rural Australia with community pain education, and fundraises annually with the Pain Revolution ride.  In 2019 the Pain Revolution team will ride from Devonport to Hobart, finishing with a loop ride on Saturday 23 March.

We're planning a social ride to celebrate the role of riding in treating chronic pain.  We'll give the Pain Revolution riders a good sendoff on their final loop ride, and then head off on an easy social ride of our own, designed for chatting and coffee.  All riders, all bikes.  We hope to have some members of Parliament with an interest in health coming along on our ride.

Be at the Parliament House lawns at 7.45am to mingle with the Pain Revolution Riders.  We'll head off on our own easy ride at 8.45am.

Our 8.6km route takes us through the CBD and along the peaceful Hobart Rivulet path, and back again, with a stop for coffee en route. A good ride for sightseeing and chatting.

Pls RSVP below, and watch the Bicycle Network Tasmania website/FB page for any updates.

You can find more information about Bicycle Network Tasmania's Social Rides Program here, including an explanation of the ride descriptor codes.

Our fortnightly In The Loop email newsletter gives a heads'up on scheduled rides.  You can register here if you don't already receive In The Loop - make sure you tick: "Advocacy - campaigns and programs".

Bicycle Network Tasmania makes every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network.  This ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.

Please note - if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
