A 26km return ride through Wynyard and around Table Cape, all on public roads. This will be a leisurely ride on rolling hills, suitable for new riders who are developing their on-road skills. 3-A-26.
We'll meet at the East Wynyard car park on the foreshore near the public toilets.
The ride gets under way around 11am under the leadership of Wendy & Keith Boyle.
There may still be a few tulips in flower but with or without them this is a spectacular ride which includes extensive sea and rural landscapes. The reward for climbing Table Cape Road and or the slight diversion to the Lookout!
Our last ride from Sprent and around Castra was again held in ideal weather conditions. Here’s hoping for another great day on the road.
You'll find more information about Bicycle Network Tasmania's Social Rides Program here, including an explanation of the ride descriptor codes.
Bicycle Network Tasmania will make every effort to ensure our organised rides are safe, however participants are advised to ensure they have insurance against accidents. The best option is to become a member of Bicycle Network, which ensures you have excellent year-round 24/7 cover against both Personal Injury and Third Party Personal/Property damage whilst riding your bike.
Note- if there are any riders under 16 years old, the adult with them will take primary responsibility for their safety on the ride.
